IDENTICA Busse from Salzwedel
What was your biggest challenge before PDR.cloud?
Keeping track of spare parts: whether they'd been ordered and if so, from whom (including outstanding parts with all the related correspondence), as well as an overview of when they were delivered and where they were stored in the meantime.
All documents for the order — sometimes on paper, sometimes in emails (approvals, correspondence from insurers and agents, and all other documents like reports, order confirmations, delivery notes, invoices, outstanding items) — had to be filed laboriously by hand.
Communication of any kind out of the DMS. This was more tedious, since digital documents were often missing or simply weren't in the DMS. Communication with the workshop (in both directions) and keeping things current (when there were changes or re-calculations on an order) was also difficult; photos from the workshop were often missing or not attached to the order.
Mobile working was only possible in a very limited way, if at all.
Many side agreements were only discussed with one employee and never reliably made it to the right person in the workshop.
Dependence on paper and the lack of digitalization of documents.
Planning and clarity for all employees.
Keeping track of open items (OPOS) in the DMS.
We thought our system was "normal," sufficient, and up to date. Looking back today, all I can say is: we were making life hard for ourselves.

What do you appreciate most about PDR.cloud?
The reliability — no data loss if an order ever has to be restarted — the currency and scope of the program, as well as access from anywhere with no limits on functionality.
The program's connectivity, e.g. to insurers (from HUK order intake all the way through to sending invoices).
I think PDR handles the HUK process really well. It also comes across as very professional to the customer.
The clarity and structure of the documents and of sending them.
The reporting on orders and the connectivity, right down to the paint scale.
